SKETCH WEEK: March 9-13, 2026
Go from blank pages in your sketch book to "WOW!!! I sketched this!!"
If you resonate with any of this, you're in the right place!
Whether you're a beginner who wants a friendly, no-pressure way to start sketching....
Or a hobbyist who love drawing but struggle with consistency or confidence
Or a returning artist who feels rusty and wants to reconnect with their sketchbook
Or a professional artist who wants to loosen up and refresh their fundamentals..
Sketch Week will help you make rapid improvement in your sketching skills.
I’ve been sketching since I was six years old, and I still get just as excited about putting pencil to paper today as I did back then. Sketching is my first love, and helping people learn how to sketch accurately and confidently is what I do best.
I’m honoured to be the President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in the United Kingdom, and I'm also an author of three books: The Addictive Sketcher, Addictive, and Painting People and Places.
I enjoy presenting art documentaries on the BBC’s The One Show, sharing my love for drawing and painting with audiences around the world.
When I’m not sketching, you’ll most likely find me singing at the top of my lungs, it’s my other great passion 🎶🎵!
I can’t wait to have you join me for Sketch Week and share this creative journey together.
Includes full replays available until 22nd March, 2026.
Don't worry, you will have access to all the replays through to Sunday March 22nd, 2026.
March 9-13, 2026 | 2.30pm EST, 7.30pm UK

I've gone from being unsure about how to approach certain subjects to being able to sketch competently. I love that we study a different subject each month and the enthusiasm that Adebanji has is brilliantly infectious.
Lisa Norman
The enthusiasm, tips and demonstrations by Adebanji have helped to push my sketching to a new level.
Christopher Roper
Adebanji teaches complicated perspective in a simple and thorough way. He has introduced us to amazing and masterly techniques like the blind contour and broadstroke. It's been a great journey with a great teacher.
Terrie Gordy
I hadn’t previously learned how to sketch, and felt quite fearful of drawing and getting it wrong, when others were at a high standard. But I’m amazed at what I can quickly sketch with Adebanji’s instruction.
Nina Weltrowska
