I’ve been sketching since I was six years old. And I still get just as excited about putting pencil to paper today as I did back then.
Sketching is my first love and helping people learn to sketch accurately, confidently and with real joy — is what I do best.
I’m honoured to be the President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in the United Kingdom, and the author of three books: The Addictive Sketcher, Addictive, and Painting People and Places.
I also present art documentaries on BBC’s The One Show, sharing my love of drawing and painting with audiences around the world.
